World Health Day is celebrated each year on 7 April to mark the anniversary of the founding of the World Health Organization (WHO) and to highlight a priority area of global public health concern.
The theme of World Health Day 2021 is “Building a Fairer, Healthier World”. It calls to ensure that everyone has living and working conditions that are conducive to good health. At the same time, it urges monitoring of health inequities, and ensuring that all people are able to access quality health services when and where they need them.
