Main spectrum of work:

Promote the prevention and control of communicable diseases in the community (TB, HIV, STI);
Contribute to the surveillance of communicable diseases in Hong Kong;
Provide specialist treatment and care services for TB (by TB&C), HIV (by SPP), STI and dermatology (by Soc Hyg Ser);
Support strategy development for communicable diseases;
Secretariat support to the Scientific Committee on AIDS and STI.
