Expert Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance

Terms of Reference

Taking into account the policy initiative of the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on control of antimicrobial resistance (“AMR”), the Expert Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance (“EC”) will advise the High Level Steering Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance (“HLSC”) on the following:

  1. Latest situation based on ongoing review of surveillance data;
  2. Proposed action areas based on available data and trends;
  3. Recommended implementation strategies and scientific basis; and
  4. Prioritisation of actions with proposed timeframe.
