The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health today (June 28) is investigating a case of Legionnaires' Disease (LD).
Case details are as follows:
Age: 69
Sex : Male
District of residence: Southern District
Date of onset: June 9
Symptoms: Fever, cough and shortness of breath
Present condition: Admitted to Queen Mary Hospital on June 16. Now in critical condition.
Home contacts: His home contact has no symptoms.
Others: The patient was reported to have travelled to the Mainland before onset of symptoms.
