Statistics on Government COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

Under the Government COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, persons aged 6 months or above can receive free initial dose(s). The following high-risk priority groups can receive booster doses for free at least six months after the last dose or COVID-19 infection (whichever is later): 1. Individuals aged 50 or above (including elderly living in residential care homes); 2. Persons aged 18 to 49 years with underlying comorbidities; 3. Persons aged 6 months or above with immunocompromising conditions; 4. Pregnant women; and 5. Healthcare workers.

Adverse Events Following Immunization
The Department of Health (DH) has an adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting system which receives adverse events following immunization (AEFIs) reports to monitor the safety of COVID-19 vaccines.
This dashboard only includes vaccination data of the Government COVID-19 Vaccination Programme. Vaccine doses administered through the private market are not included.
The age for reporting as of vaccination day.
The percentages of population with vaccine dose(s) may be different from previous statistics as the population base has been updated with the provisional estimate of the end-year population for 2022 provided by the Census and Statistics Department and based on population aged 6 months or above.
Regarding the dashboard update:
Unless otherwise stated, figures of the month are updated in the first half of each month.
Any subsequent data amendment or update will be reflected after next round of data synchronization.
Regarding the programme period:
The COVID-19 Vaccination Programme was officially launched on 26 February 2021.
Administration of inactivated vaccine started on 26 February 2021.
Administration of mRNA vaccine started on 10 March 2021.
A number of individuals received doses of the COVID-19 vaccines during the soft launch of the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme (before official launch).
