The Exercise Prescription Doctor's Handbook comprehensively reviews the evidence base for the effect of physical activity to improve health and provides the foundations for primary care practitioners to advise their patients how to embark on physical activity for better health and prescribe patients with an appropriate exercise prescription in the primary care setting. This Handbook consists of science-based information and recommendations on exercise prescription and is endorsed by the Exercise Prescription Development Committee which consists of representatives from various professional stakeholders and non-governmental organisations.
